Arrowhead Stamping

Step 1

 

We will be using a standard basekt weave stamp to create an arrowhead pattern.  Begin by wetting the leather.  Not soaking wet just very damp.  This makes the leather soft and pliable.

 

Next scribe a line as shown.  At one end of this line press just the edge of the basket weave tool as shown.  For this first line as shown, the arrowheads will be pointing up.  If you want them going sideways scribe the line horizontally and press the baset weave tool vertically.
